Roasted sweet chestnuts, desserts, and chestnut-based dishes take center stage at the 51st Marunada in Lovran from October 9 to 11. The festival pairs local food with concerts by Psihomodo Pop, Lidija Bačić, and 4 Tenora at Brajdice, alongside creative workshops, a classic car gathering, and a bocce tournament around town.

Food and drinks
- Alongside roasted sweet chestnuts and chestnut products, local cafés, pastry shops, and restaurants prepare cakes, desserts, and savory chestnut dishes.
- Drinks include local honey brandy and young wine.
Boat service from Opatija
- The Marunada Taxi Boat operates on Saturday and Sunday, October 10 and 11.
- Departures from Opatija are at 11:00 and 15:00, with return departures from Lovran at 14:30 and 18:00.
- The adult fare is €10, including a welcome drink. Children up to age 12 travel free.
