Cartoon poster framed with stars: a gray-haired, bearded comedian in glasses, a navy T-shirt, jeans and white sneakers leans toward a laughing couple at a table, microphone in hand, with an audience visible in the purple half-light behind them; the top reads Najpopularniji stand up show made in Bosnia above three short star-rated blurbs, and the bottom reads Stand up Bosanac o Bosancima by Hazim Mujčinović.

About the event

Hazim Mujčinović doesn't take the stage to explain Bosnia but to show it the way he knows it from the inside, through the habits and small everyday moments that anyone who has spent a few days among Bosnians will instantly recognize. His solo show Made in Bosnia: Bosanac o Bosancima (roughly: A Bosnian on Bosnians) comes to the Omišalj Community Hall with material taken straight from life, from a "Ne parkiraj" (No Parking) sign that runs out of room on a garage door to plane passengers who leap from their seats on landing as if about to miss their bus stop.
