About the group
- Klapa Kaštadi was founded in 1998 in Poljica on the island of Krk.
- The group takes its name from an old term for custodians of church property, found in a Glagolitic inscription on a stone window sill at the parish church in Poljica.
- Their first album was released in 2006, followed by Samo kantat in 2018 to mark their twentieth anniversary.
- Samo kantat features collaborations with Tedi Spalato, Đani Stipaničev, Marko Škugor, Melanija Purić, Bruno Krajcar, and Zvjezdan Ružić.
