Saturday’s second performance of "The Three Little Pigs" returns to a story Rijeka’s puppet theater has staged nearly 700 times. Its longest-running production follows three characters setting out on their own, discovering both the fun and the dangers of independence, with the wolf posing their greatest challenge.

About the show

  • This familiar tale introduces young children to the value of hard work and cooperation. The pigs’ encounter with the wolf shows why the easiest choice is not always the best.
  • The show is suitable for ages two and up and runs for 45 minutes. The evening performance starts at 6:00 PM.

Creative team and cast

  • Written by Jiri Jaroš, the production was revived by Serđo Dlačić using Želimir Prijić’s original directorial concept.
  • Luči Vidanović restored the puppets and set based on Ladislav Šošterić’s concept. Music is by Vladimir Flod, choreography by Sonja Svoboda, and lighting design by Damir Babić.
  • The cast features Almira Štifanić, Karin Fröhlich, Andrea Špindel, Zlatko Vicić, and Alex Đaković.
