Saturday’s morning performance of "The Three Little Pigs" takes young children on a familiar adventure into independence. The three characters discover that life away from home is not all play: the wolf’s arrival tests their choices and reveals the importance of effort and cooperation.

About the show

  • With nearly 700 performances, “The Three Little Pigs” is the longest-running production in Rijeka’s puppet theater repertoire. The familiar story shows young children in a simple, engaging way why the easiest path is not always the best.
  • The show is suitable for ages two and up and runs for 45 minutes. The morning performance starts at 11:00 AM.

Creative team and cast

  • Written by Jiri Jaroš, the production was revived by Serđo Dlačić using Želimir Prijić’s original directorial concept.
  • Luči Vidanović restored the puppets and set based on Ladislav Šošterić’s concept. Music is by Vladimir Flod, choreography by Sonja Svoboda, and lighting design by Damir Babić.
  • The cast features Almira Štifanić, Karin Fröhlich, Andrea Špindel, Zlatko Vicić, and Alex Đaković.
